I didn’t get to do my usual Wednesday Weigh In post. We went straight to a baseball game after work on Wednesday, and yesterday as soon as I was done running, showering and eating it was tv time. Now that Fall tv programming is back on, it kind of rules a large portion of my evenings.
Anyway, the good news is that I weighed in at 163.6, 3.2 pounds down from last week! I passed my initial goal to lose 5%, and my goal has now been reset to 156.1, or 10% lost. After such a big loss I’ll be happy just to maintain this week.

I totally balked on making this dinner. I cooked the split peas Monday night to get ready to cook the whole meal Tuesday, but after I ran Tuesday I was too tired and hungry to cook. Same thing happened last night, and by that time I was worried the split peas might have started to turn. So, I cooked more split peas last night and finally made the meal tonight. It was worth the wait.
